E538 machine taps for British Standard Fine threads are manufactured to conform to the International Standards Organization. Made from High Speed steel to provide good performance and tool life, the taps have a steam tempered finish which will give a great result and accurate thread by making sure no workpiece material sticks to the cutting edge of the tool. With a spiral flute, the taps can be used for threading blind holes and have a wide range of material uses including steels, aluminium and stainless steels.
